Groundhog Day

I did it. On Groundhog's Day, first thing in the morning, I walked into the office and I did it. I signed my contract to work another year. After months of observing myself and my environment, my work, my joys and sorrows, I was ready to sign and not look back. The rest of the day was filled with assurance and peace.

The next day, I found myself signing the same contract because it was invalid. Groundhog's Day.
